Brand Refresh for a North Dallas Esthetician | Meet Cindy Meza

Dallas Esthetician

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Cindy Meza ! An esthetician in the North Dallas area who specializes in a variety of services for skin health and even bridal makeup!

Highlighting Products:

As soon as you walk into Cindy’s suite you are greeted with a bright and open space which includes a beautiful, organized wall of skincare products! There were products for every part of a skin care routine ranging from toners to moisturizes and even sunscreen. We recorded some B-roll of products and even an educational reel of a specific product. The wall of skincare is super convenient for customers looking for a “one stop shop” experience, this was a must to highlight for the session.

Customer experiences:

Still focusing on the convenience of having the products you need for your skin in arms reach. I made sure to include the checkout process. Being able to get the treatment you need and the products in one place is the ultimate value packed experience! To my surprise, she reached down to pull out a small brown paper bag with her logo on it! (I mean how freaking cute is that?) I had to include photos of these bags to use for her branding. My mind immediately went to if she wanted to mention how she offers skincare products on her website, these photos were absolutely perfect for it.

Service Imagery: The Facial

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to photograph all the services Cindy provides in her North Dallas suite. But I was able to showcase perhaps a more common and popular service: A Facial !

This was the most important part, showing the “what” it is you do through a series of images.

I made sure to include short-from content (B-roll) of the process so that she could use it for marketing purposes. Sensory images were taken to make a connection with the audience, such as her putting on the calming meditation music or the process of making the client feel at home by making the bed with new sheets and fluffy pillows!

Headshot and wardrobe

If you couldn't guess from the hair, Cindy really enjoys the color pink. Of course she owns a beautiful pink blazer, and of course I was stoked to photograph her in it.

I’ll always advise wearing your brand colors at some part during the shoot. Why? Well, it's the easiest way for your audience to make the connection to who you are/your brand. As we discussed in our pre-session planning, she was in the process of reworking her website so I wanted to include a variety of crops for her to use when building it (i.e. including photos with negative space to the side of her incase there was text being placed next to her).

Final thoughts on the session overall

This was an extremely fun session. There was conversation and jokes throughout (just because the photos are for your business, doesn’t mean they can't be fun!)
